View Full Version : Looking for 1/4" bit adapters!!!!!

Someone in another thread mentionned to me that someone in our user community was making these adapters.
For me besides Carvwright nor Sears.com that does not ship to Canada
I have no other alternatives.
Could not find the 1/4" but did get the 1/2 on Ebay...

I must add that I just noticed that RJUSTINE is making the 1/8" adapter
which I will look into later on

Any suggestion on where I could get the 1/4"????

All your machinist catalogs has collets in a 3/8 size and will hold 1/8 as well as 1/16 and 1/4. Drill the collet from carve wright to recieve the shank on the collet.

In the near future I will be producing a collet and holder that will accept all the sizes mentioned above. All so the machinist catalogs has many bits that will work on wood very well. What happens when metal bits are used?
