Picture of me and my wife

I accidently spilled to much varnish on a picture, of me and my wife, I made out of redwood. Does anyone know how I can get this type of finish to last. I know as soon as it dries it will not look the same. But, it is too life like not to try to finish it this way.

That is interesting. I would love to see a picture once it dries. The only suggestion I could offer is to do the same thing but with a milky white stain instead of varnish.

water will make varnish/polyurethane turn white as long as it is not water based
