Centerline Text

I bought centerline text and am attempting to use it for the first time. I am making the crescent wrench pattern for a "WoodFest" show our local wood supply store is having and wanted to carve inside the recessed area of the wrench but can't seem to get the text to show in designer in that area. I know there is no depth setting for Centerline but can you use it inside your carving or only the surface of the wood? I have to have all my projects completed by this Saturday so need help quick.

In general you cannot use centerline in a carve region (recessed area). Some folks have fooled the system by pressing the 'STOP' key when the bit goes to touch down on the wood and jogging the machine over to the recessed area. It then thinks the recessed area is the top of the wood.
