Spindle bearings

The spindle head got extremely hot seems to move freely but sounds a little rough. Can anybody tell me about how much it cost to replace the bearings?

Curious here too, but not because I have this problem (yet). I looked it up in the manual but there seems to be no suggested lubrication. Does anyone know, are these sealed bearings or can they be cleaned and lubed?

Dagwood. What was resolved with your spindle bearing problem? My machine is still under warranty but i sure don't want to be down very long. Has anyone replaced the spindle bearings at home? If so, how large a problem?

No Lubrication In This Area.. It Will Destroy The Bearings.....if They Go Bad And Under Warranty , Only Lhr Will Replace The Bearing. I Quess Cause The Truck Gotta Come Off And They Don't Want Us Messing With That?
