check board

We are new to the Compu Carve and the forum. We have been learning how to use both the machine and the software.

Today, the machine tells us to "check board". It will only measure the board in one direction then gives this command, asks us to press any key, then goes back to the beginning, only to end up in the same place.

CW has gone through troubleshooting with us with no success. Any help is welcomed.

Not much info to go on, are you saying it measures the width of the board but not the length? Is the board warped, and not pressing down on the little brass roller? Is the little rubber o-ring still on the brass roller? Have you tried other boards? Did CW go thru the sensor checks and such?

I believe we were able to solve that problem. We are now on to another problem but think we can solve it as well.

We're not really sure what questions to ask yet but thank you for the reply.
