Rookie asking another dumb question

Ok this may seem dumb to ask but how do you switch between raster and vector cutting? Is it in the software or is it the file type you import?:confused:

there are no dumb questions, only dumb answers. this may be one of them....you can't....this is a raster cutting machine. the only vector cutting would be line art or c/l text.

I found this to be a really nice explanation of how to creat some cool design using Vector cutting. These types of carvings go much quicker than Raster cutting, and give you an entirely different effect. I produced a couple of them and they actually get alot of attention!
