This should be easy, but I'm stumped. Is it possible in Designer to rotate a square 45º to form a diamond? If not, is there another way to make a diamond shape?

I did a search for diamond with no results.

Thanks in advance.

Jim use the connect line segment tool - I have had good luck with it. Toggle your grid to size diamond.

Thanks Eagle.

That's an excellent idea. I guess I got frustrated and didn't think it through.

Thanks again.

I set the grid to view and snap to grid and drew the squares in a different direction then the quilt racks.

Jim,

Another way to quickly make your diamond is to first make a rectangle/square, then use the Add vortex tool and add a vortex (point/node) to the center of each side (just to the side of the yellow center point on each side). Now use your Remove Vortex tool and click on each of the corner vortex points/nodes and voila, a diamond.
