got my machine back last week from texas,z axis stall when i tried to scan,as well as many stops to check probe,z axis stall on first carve attemp,fatal error on first cut out attempt,and bits are now extremly hard to change,guess i better back up and see what i'm doing wrong

Make sure you upgrade your firmware to 1.120, update Designer AND reformat and update your memory card. I bet that will take care of your Z-axis errors.
