carving bit

keep asking to load 1/16 carving bit ??????? bit loaded seems it cant find the bit any help thanks

If a bit is loaded then watch the machine go through it's homing process and on the right side of the machine the bit flag comes out and the tip of the bit touches it. That tells the computer the bit length. If your bit flag does not come out far enough then it will miss and the computer thinks you have not loaded a bit.

The bit also touches the top of the board and the right side guide after going down into the U shaped notch first.
