close cover to...

I am currently getting the close cover error with a new hood that CW guys sent me to replace my old one, I hear the switches engage but the error remains. Has anyone had this happen?

The cover is unscrewed due the flex shaft rubbing in the cutout.

I betting the answer is yes, but: did you plug the cover wiring harness back in?

I always fight with my FAT fingers trying to get that plug in for the left switch.... The other day I had my cut motor out to replace the brushes and had the head cranked all the way up. When putting the top cover back on I struggled again then just put my hand through UNDER the roller and it fit great and I popped that plug right in..... I bet everybody else does it that way....

Thanks guys, looks like the micro "left side" switch went south. I will give the guys at CW a shout Monday for a new one.

I jumped the wires so I can still work today but hope I not chancing my arm to much as i am not sure about what can happen without it.. :eek:
