software for patterns

anyone know what software is being used to create the patterns for sale by various sites for the cw? I know of artcam, what else is available

Corel Draw 3x that Jon uses in his tutorials. But AC is the big one. I've heard that the learning curve is steep, you don't just plunk down 7500.00 and start putting out masterpieces.
