.MPC Files

I searched the FORUM and can't find anything helpful.
I can't read or import .MPC files, when I open them they come in cumputer GOOP.
What can I do, do I need a special program to open .MPC files?

Dusty, what program are you opening the .mpc file with?
You need to open it in Designer - I just want to make sure what you are doing.

If you 'open the file' are you double clicking on it? If youy installed CW designer then the default 'open with' program associated with .mpc files will be designer, if you see unreadable code you probably don't have designer installed and are opening the file in notepad or another text editor.
If tyou have designer installed there is a simple fix, open my computer , click tools, file type tab, scroll to mpc file (pres m on keyboard to jump to M) click change and browse to C:\Program Files\CarveWright\gui.exe

Thanks for your reply guys, after reading Doc's reply I went back and figured out what I was doing wrong. not real computer savy.
