This was a well paying experiment that worked. I had an order for a 3ft x 5ft sign-just 3 words-large letters-bold! Will the CW do it? I bought a 1" wide, round bottom lettering bit from Pricecutter and went for it. My charge for the finished sign? $40 sq ft or $600. It was a bit of a challenge, but with a little clean up it worked. Hello Paul,

I like the way the lettering turned out ...very nice! Looks like you used the Centerline function, correct?

Thanks for any help

Folks,
I ordered the Ceeterline software the day it was advertised here. My order is "On back order".
Either a whole lot of us ordered it or they found a bug.
Are we hijacking Paul's thread?

Added later: They sent the email in error - all should now be well!

Paul, great sign - good old American ingenuity! Did you use the Centerline that we got with our Beta machines or did you order the new and improved? version?

Beta version. How do you know 'new & improved'? Is that a fact or is it just an assumption?

Well it's it is new :D and since the beta release had some issues (causing it to be removed from later releases of designer), I guess it would be a safe assumption that it is improved. :D

Did you just hijack your own thread? lol

The scary part is that it is still in there when you purchase centerline you just get a code to unlock it so I just received a call and when I get home I get to talk to Heather and she will walk me thru the process. Just hope it works as good as I hope.

It was a tongue in cheek statement - I have yet to find anything "new & improved" with the CW system. But I should reserve that statement until I have had the chance to really try my $500 Beta replacement machine.

Hi pkunk, -- Guys,

Quote oldjoe,-- "The scary part is that it is still in there when you purchase centerline you just get a code to unlock it"

Na - to me the scary part is wondering what other goodies Heather might have lurking in there??? - http://www.carvewright.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Paul, don't you love it $600.00 and the machine does the work!!! $40.00 is a good price. I charge a little more for bigger signs, but as simple as that one is I would of most likely charged the same.

The bummer is I carved 3 signs the other day by hand while the CC carved 4 letters!!! But the CC can carve some fantastic vector art far better then I can!!

Very nice sign!
