I've had this free file for awhile and finally finished one..............white pine, walnut stain with metallic acrylic paint with spar urethane finish.

Very nice, one of the best finish jobs I've seen on that caving pattern

HawgMan, I really like the way you finished this. I can't see what you did to the Apostles. Are they painted?

I painted them using a Bronze/Copper metallic acrylic..........I've never worked with goldleaf and don't even know the cost.....I used Wal-Mart paint...plus I'm almost blind in 1 eye due to a detached retina 4 years ago so can't afford mistakes....paint is a more forgiving media.

That is one of the nicest finishes on the Last Supper I've seen yet, very tasteful and well executed.

That finish is better than mine darn it!! Absolutely pretty work. Now, you just have to cut it out the rest of the way.

Looks real nice! Have you seen the other 2 pictures from that frame set.
I noticed a while back that there looks like a series of carvings with the frame matching. I have carved the Last Supper and an guardian Angle Bridge but can't seem to find the third one. Have anybody seen these? Or am I dreaming?

Thanks to all.I think the third one may be Mary and baby Jesus not sure. Was the guardian angle posted on here or was it something you scanned ? Just bought the picture so i could scan it.
