machine died again with the dreaded z axis stall, started with clean z rails error, havn't heard that one yet. then after cheacking all wires and plugs, and cleaning z rails, nothing but z axis stalls. contacted cw, we'll see what happens.

I had the exact same issue. Henry in tech support had me to some testing while on the phone. Basically determining if it is a Z encoder or a Z motor issue. They sent a new Z motor to fix the problem. Called on a Friday and had the new motor on Monday via USPS.

Have the same problem, happened on monday. Called cw and chris walked me through taking apart my cc. It ended up being the circut board on the back of the Z motor. One of the metal connectors broke. Now I'm waiting for a new motor to come in the mail.
