I Hve Just Received A Cc For Fathers Day And Am Still Learning. I Read In The Owners Man. To Use Anly Approved Bits. In The Sears Catalogue They List Some Freud Bits In Acc. Section Of The Catalogue Under The Cc Machine. Are These Bits Ok To Use On The Cc? Thanks

As long as they are the same general dimension as what Designer is programmed for yes. For instance, almost any 60° or 90° 1/4" shank bit will work fine.

I work for Freud and have used some Freud bits in my machine (3/8" straight, V-groove, round nose). We have comparables for most of the Carvewright bits so let me know which one you are considering and I will make sure you get the correct match.

I have used Frued, Whitsite, CMT bits in the CW and they all worked fine.
