Does anyone have a used Z truck that has a bad spindle? I am wanting to do some testing with an alternative spindle / chuck design. PM me if you have something i can do some testing with.

Still looking for a Z Truck if anyone has one... I remember seeing someone had one with a cracked housing. If you have it i would be interested in it.

As I've just recently posted, my repaired z-axis is still in use.

But I have two ideas for you. One, don't forget to consider looking for a y-axis motor; it appears to be the same base unit without the circuit for the sensor attached to the outside. The other, did you try contacting someone at CW? They maybe willing to provide some old replaced parts to experiment with.

Im not needing the motor... I need the spindle... Any idea of who i would talk to at CW? That may not be a bad idea.

Try searching eBay. I saw some parts on sale on eBay about 3 months ago. Someone dumpster diving somewhere?
