I'm just another newbie.

With Designer is it possible to release and relocate a pattern that has been centered or aligned without using the undo function. If I have a group centered and want to move the group, I have to delete the group then reinsert the patterns again.

When I draw long horizontal lines and the snap is on the line always jumps to the next vertical snap line. The only way I found to correct it is to set the angle back to "0" degrees after I draw the line.

Thanks

Hi Mel,
Click on the pattern and click on the align button again.
If the pattern is center aligned go up and click on the centered button and it will unlock it.

As HerbO said, once you centered a pattern, if you right click and go back up to the centering options, you should see a light blue box showing how it is centered. Click this box again and it will release it. Also if you change a dimensions manually, going from green to yellow, you can again right click the dimension and you should see the option to 'Remove Attachment'
