Anybody know why centerline text defaults to .250, and why you can't change it unless you use the depth profile settings? Would be nice if you could just change depth alone. Also......you can't invert it? Tried to use centerline in a carve region, won't work, can't use merge styles. Just some observations. Maybe some improvements in future software version - hint to developers who read this forum.

Because it is 'font' dependant. Some fonts carve too shallow for me, bold will make it deeper as will 60° bit.

Think about what your asking the machine to do when you tell it to centerline cut a letter, follow a vector path with the bit removing material along the path, what would inverting the text be asking the machine to do? outline maybe? use the outline instead, or raster cut to leave the text raised instead of carved out.
