Project unreadable (9)

This is the error I am getting after going through all the settings and the mchine starts
to "CARVE" project............

PROJECT UNREADABLE (9)
press STOP to abort.

But have you tried a diffrent project?

I had similar symptoms. I called CarveWright and, eventually, they said is was a memory card problem.
