I import a graphic from paint shop pro... and when adding the pattern to a project... it adds a square box around the graphic... how do I get rid of that square box?

after the crop section in designer when it shows you the carving, you will see a box checked that states floor edges. uncheck that box and that should remove your problem.

Much thanks Mike :)

Worked like a charm!

I have had the same problem with images I imported, then figured the "un-checking" of the floor edge box. (Thanks to past posts) the problem that I am having is that I can not seem to figure out how to do it on an item that I had scanned. (No floor edge box to un-check)
I also noticed that the floor edge is not on all of my scans just some. Something to do with setting my depth for the scan perhaps. I have searched all over the board and could not seem to find the answer. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tom

I my self usually just use my photo editing programs to "crop" the image to only leave what I wish to be seen before importing the image.

When you are importing am image file, on the screen where you can raise, lower or invert the image, the "Floor edge" box is in the lower left corner.

As far as I can tell the floor edge just defines the lowest portion of the item imported. A uniform depth, and sets it for a machine starting point. I have not found a real use for it, there probably is one, but I have not figured out why. I searched and did find the floor edge, just not how to remove it on scan.
