View Full Version : Bit flag and the right safety switch cable to the motor.

Interesting find today. My bit depth flag was not coming out at all, notta, zip, just did not move.??? With the power off I pushed the head over and still could not get the flag to come out..... The problem was the right cover switch for the motor. The cable from the switch to the motor was out of place and the z drive head was hitting the cable and it could not reach the bit flag cam. It's a really tight fit back there, with the power off I found just the right position for the cable. Something to look at of your bit flag only comes out part way as this one did at first. I may be wrong but I don't ever remember reading this before.

That is one of the things listed in the bit plate troubleshooting PDF, I had the dust cover come of the Z-motor and cause that problem too.

Seeeeeee I should do more reading and less typing.....

Speaking of reading.... Trying to make heads and tails on the Xenetech 912 rotary software.... Another learning curve..... At least my Carve machine was working while I was a reading....
