No More Extended Warranties from Sears!

I found a thread here about Sears offering a 5 year extended warrany for the CW so I just called the Sears number and tried to get one for my new machine. The operator at Sears was polite in telling me that they just got a memo recently that there will be no more extended warranties offered for the CW and any one who has already bought one would be receiving a refund on it and a letter explaining that the extended warranty is no longer valid.
Just thought I would pass this along.

I want interest on my refund.... That card had something like 24% interest on it..... Don't they like me? Paid that one off the next day....

I knew it would never fly but it was a interesting conversation piece...
