Ok, I`m just asking. Anyone got any figures on this ?

I`ve been using the "encased" method of putting my "Lady`s" driving shaft into an "sheaf" within a tube and left to hang overnight.

I reread that, and it didn`t quite sound correct. That is unless we`s all`s talking about the same thing...<Grin>

Anyway, what I was trying to get at, was does anyone have an "average temp" along the cable drive that they feel is acceptable ?

I`ve used the "stick-it-in-tube, and hang it over-night approach", but I`m always looking for a better idea.

I was told by a Carvewright tech that he THOUGHT that Cable Housing Operating Temperature should be around 40 degrees Centigrade (104F) and that the Drive Head 60C (140F).
