View Full Version : Finally got some carving time

I thought I'd posted this already, the first is a sign for a Buddy's wife who is retiring after 23 years in the Navy. The second is a bookcase for my youngest Daughter. This is the second project I have done for her where she has raised my blood pressure, shall we say, before I got started. She said she didn't like it, with a big grin on her face :)
I am trying a Shellac finish for the first time on these, see here.

Really nice work there forqnc. I do have a question though if you don`t mind ?

Do you have that "bed" in your shop so you can keep an eye on your "baby", or did the wife move you out there ?.... <grin>

I've thought about moving in :) , I believe what you are refering to is the blue striped sheet in the pics, that's my highly expensive cover for my Table Saw :rolleyes:
