Ordered two carving bits online from Sears on 4/12. They arrived here this morning via UPS. They include the bit, the adapter and instructions for assembly. No wrench. The boxes they are in are way too big but at least you can't misplace them.

Ken,

So the bit and holder are separate? That seems odd. Did they include Loc-Tite?

Just one of the other Kens
Mine came with the bits mounted in the adapters and oiled, no Loc-Tite.
So I took them apart, cleaned them and remounted them with Loc-Tite. Then lubed them with Top-Coat, it doesn't attract dust or chips to gum up the chuck.

Charles,

Bits and adapters unmounted and instructions for assembly only. No locktite.

Kenm810,

Hi Ken,

I ordered a couple of each Carving Bits and 1/8” Cutting Bits, along with the 60 and 90 degree V Groove Bits from LHR. It took about 2 weeks to get them. I also picked up a 3 pack of ½” Bit Adaptors and three 3 pack of ¼” Adaptors from a local Sears store. I think I mentioned in an earlier post I load up each of my Bits in its own adaptor to save time and my fingers when putting them in of taking them out of the chuck.;)
