Hey All

I just got my machine. I been trying to figure out the software for a month. it has been fun now i have the machine to try out all the ideas. BUT i have a big problem it came with out bits. Here the whole story. I bought it sears online store. Got a great deal they had a one day special. if you buy any tools or appliance between midnight and 6am on that one day they would give you 20% off. and believe it or not they did do that. Ok I got my machine today and I am so ready to try all the ideas out that I got from this group BUT it came with out bits. so i called sears customer service and told them I got a machine with out the bits the guy at sears said hold for a minute and I will check it out for you. He came back on the phone and said our tech specialist says she doesn't think it is comes with it. I said it's in the book that it does come with two of them. He said I had to call carve wright or they could send me another machine and then pick up my and credit my account when they get it but I would have to go with the current price not the 20% off price. So I said no thanks and called carve wright. I must tell you they are the best people in the world to work with. Carve wright has the best people to help you and they do it right away. They are sending me my bits ASAP.
They told me that they are going to call sears and try to educate them if they can. Carve wright said if I have any problems don't call sears just call them directly. What a great company.
I can't wait to get my machine running.
Still needing any and all ideas on how to go from a photo to a engraving.

Thanks to all and I can't wait to turn the machine on.

Were the bags for the parts and the manual all sealed? Was the CD in with the manual?
Just wondering.

Tim...
Unless everything in the box was in sealed in plastic bags including the CD, manual dust bag etc. I suspect you may have been given a (used) returned machine rather than a new one in which case I would recommend you go back to the store you got it from and demand a "NEW" machine and also a substantial discount for their trying to foster off a used machine as new. You should be able to get the run times in the LCD panel on the machine.
