I am using centerline text to make blocks and the depth of the carving gets shallower in one corner. I have ensured that the bold is not selected for any of these letters and the blocks are all within a .5 millimeter in size (all 4cm cubes).

Any insight is helpful.

Regards, Doc

So on this run I jogged to the shallow corner and it made it deeper but the rest as well. So logic tells me that corner is lower, but I have measured and it’s not. While writing this post I think I might have worked it out. My sled does not extend 3” past the carving. So the deep side is getting tilted up. I’m going to fix that and let ya all know (well if anyone cares [emoji12].

3.5" at least. I use 4" 'cause I don't like fractions.

So you agree that could cause that? Seems odd that it affects the last ‘row’ versus the last ‘column’?

The head might not be level from the key pad end to the bit plate end.

Thank You. I’ll look for the details on how to check & adjust that.
