Board,
Nice work. Did you do the layout as one peice or did you put that together with seperate elements in designer? What graphic design app. do you use? If I'm being to nosey just say so.

I don't think, I know we all miss your out-standing patterns from the gallery!

I'll try to answer every thing in one post:

Some of my work is done as elements that are then brought together, some is done as an all in one, some artwork is supplied to me, some is purchased by me to use. Depends on the design and the look I am going for or want. ( and they are willing to pay for )

I use a multitude of graphics programs: PhotoShop, ArtCam, Corel Draw 12 and/or X3 ( 12 has Centerline Trace which was removed from X3 ), FotoFinish, AutoCad, Google Sketch Up Pro, Illustrator, Maya, LightWave, Paint Shop Pro, Rhino 3D and Xara are a few. Whatever I need to get the effect and end look I am after.

I don't post ptn's or mpc's anymore due to all the controversy that took place before over copyrights etc. I create some of my own elements, use others off the web, find others for sale, and will either do it all from scratch or combine any/all elements I need to end up with a final carve design. Rather then even deal with copyright comments/issues I just post a screen shot of the design anymore. This eliminates any controversy before it even starts.

I cleaned up the photo I posted and did a carving. Mine was a little different than the first one posted. I did a Google search on Deadwood and found the exac photo that was previously posted. This is my modification.

Okay, it's not the exact of the original.... but it did come out pretty. Specifics of size, wood and finish????

I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers on the previous post. Just being a little crass I guess. Sorry.

I used cedar with red mahogany finish and then topped it with rub on lacquer. My big project is a cradle I designed myself and am embellishing with carvings from the CW. Still a couple weeks off from completing.
