How do I insert text in a store bought pattern

You should be able to just select the board size, open the pattern, and then select the text tool.

When I try to put the text on top of the pattern, it disappears,,, If I move it outside the pattern it appears. Maybe this is not possible.

Are you using centerline text? If so you need the Conforming Vectors add on and click on the Conform box. If you do not have Conforming Vectors, Raster and outline should work.

That got-er done Thank you. Raster did not, not sure why but outline and centerline did.? Another Question, lol I'm trying to make a larger sign for a friend, when I try to "make pattern", the system pops up and says pattern is owned by another user. Is this normal for a store bought pattern
