Any body know how to adjust this lever? My head does not seem to lock. It moves easily locked or unlocked.

Very few if any use the red locking lever. If you do use it, it is only used after you lower the head down onto the carving board.

I never use the red lever anymore. I forgot it a few times with no ill effects, so now I didn't even think about.

Thank you. I guess it is not needed.

Thank you. I've pulled it but guess I've never really used it because it does not lock

Does the CX Machine have a handle?

Not sure if that's what I have. TYPE says Rev, C. I surely do have a handle. It's red and does absolutely nothing as far as I can discern.

When I first started using My Carvewright I was in the "do right daddy" mode and used it but soon realized that it wasn't really necessary. It's supposed to be sort of like a parking brake by using a loose friction grip on the guide posts. I usually forget it's even there until someone here on the forum asks about it.

I think the CX model does still have the lock

Thanks Steve, I guess I just won't sweat it.
