Looking for some opinions please. This is the project I posted about on another thread that I'm doing for our local museum. Need some advise or opionons on the layout and wording. Should it say "Commerating 50 Years" or something like that? Have posted both a capture and the MPC. Thanks in advance.

You could use the words "honor" or "recognition." Enlarge the Kansas Army Natl Guard lettering. Move the line that says "Of 177 soldiers ... directly above or below the list of names. Maybe say "12 Galva residents joined 165 active soldiers." ????? Not sure. I would not start a line with the word "of," grammatically correct but seems awkward.
Do you want to emphasize the Anniversary or the 12 soldiers? How about "In Recognition or (In Honor) or (To Commemorate) in the top line. Then later "50 years ago, of 177 activated, 12 were from Galva" then list the names.
Just a few ideas.

I do not think you need to say
"Commerating 50 Years" as you do have "50th Anniversary" already on the plaque.

Maybe see how the last line reads as "12 of the 177 soldiers activated were from Galva."

Make sure you set bit optimization to best for the logo pattern.

Replace the 50th Anniversary" with "Commemorating..."

Maybe something like this? Might take awhile to carve.

Commemorating is misspelled. I would still move the line about the 12 to just above the names, that way it is introducing the names.

Or maybe this? Sorry about the misspelling in my previous post. I fixed it.
