What does everyone use to lubricate the crank and head posts?
I have used Lithium grease before but in the cold it gums up and does not work.
Carvewright uses a marine grease (green) but I don't know what its called they thin it with 3 in 1 oil.
Any suggestions?

Thanks

I purchased a used machine that came back from LHR shortly before I bought it. It came with a tube of green grease that I was told was from LHR. The grease is Primrose NO.327 ARMOR PLATE WITH MOLY-D.I saw the green grease used on the gears. On the corner post themselves, I like to use WD-40, just spray a rag with it and wipe it on. It is not much of a lube, but works well in this case and doesn't attract dust like most other lubes. LPS 1 should work very well for the post. It also doesn't attract dust and is a lube.

I use dry lube on my head posts. Nothing sticks to it.
