More than a little off-center

Running a 12x12 piece of acrylic in a UBC. The acrylic is 11.9x11.9 actual, while the project board is 11.75x11.75. I tell the machine to center on the board. Machine does not center on the board. It measures it perfectly, then puts the carving on the board - consistently - about 1/4" to the one side. It is so consistent that I finally just edited the project so the carving is off the side, and it comes out centered. Latest firmware, clean board sensor, I've gone over everything again and again, no answers. Any thoughts?

Run a simple project on a scrap piece of wood down on the belts. For example, a shallow drill hole in the center of small square project board. Use place on center and see how centered it turns out. (You can just use the the carving bit.)

If it drills off center, then you may need to adjust the y offset of the machine. If it drills on center, then try the same thing on the UCB.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that it is off-center along the X axis.

My machine has always been off in the x axis. Unfortunately, there is no x offset to adjust. I think work arounds are the only option.

I would seriously look at the artwork and start using place on end or place on corner. So the board will measure length once then back to the head and move down the board and stop.

When you use center on board, it measures the board twice. That is a lot more servo time and wear and tear.
