I need to figure out how to join 2 line shapes........ well it's kind of hard to explain so let me just post a link to a jing video........ by the way only have the software that comes free.

from your video, If I understand what you want, this how I would do it, I drew a oval and circle. I then use the arc tool and hand drew the multiple arcs to
match the outside of the oval and circle. created a region and turned on cutpath, flip the cut to the outside and this is the end results.

Select both the oval and circle and click on the Carve Region tool. With both still selected, click on Outline Pattern. Delete the oval and circle Carve Regions. Use the Cut Path tool on the Outline.

I think he wants the oval minus the circle.
Make the oval a carve region of depth 0.25. Make the circle a carve region of depth 0.00. Group and make a pattern. Put the pattern on the board. Invert it. (It looks like it disappears) Outline the pattern.

Thanks for eneryones quick response. I posted this just before putting in a 12 hour shift thus the delayed response.
My shop, is this turkey pattern available for sale? I looked in the pattern depot.
