Already have a rabbit lover who wants one like yours. Haven't seen anything I knew was done in alder before, really like the look.

Dale, thanks. I have never used Alder but it looks really nice. At least from the picture it looks to me like slightly oxidized cherry, which I think is very handsome. Might have to try it one of these days whenever I have an appropriate project.

Yeah around here they call Alder the poor man's cherry. I think it is a little softer than cherry but about half the price.

The price difference would not be hard to deal with, especially as nice as it looks.
