Is there away to convert .rlf files to use in Designer? Or are they only for use in Artcam?

They cannot be imported directly. You would have to convert them to grayscale heightmaps in ArtCam (or similar if there are any).

Artcam seems to be a commercial software package that probably is way out of this old retirees price range. I couldn't even find pricing for it online. I only wanted to get the Serbian crest that was on thier forum into a format that the CC would carve as a gift for a friend. Oh well, another plan shot to heck!!
