I haven't posted in awhile but still stop in from time to time. I've seen it come up through the years many times on the forum and thought I'd share this info for anyone who was interested in officially licensing university logos. My business has been growing well since adding a vinyl shop & a few other additions to my 2 carvewrights. I was approached to make wood flags with the Penn State Nittany Lions logo on. I talked to the school and was referred to this website that handles most all of the big universities licensing.
It shows how much each school gets in royalties, the upfront fees, the application process and answers every question there is about licensing. It's not super cheap but not nearly as expensive as I thought it'd be.
