Two color Edge Lit Acrylic Sign

The last couple of Edge-lit Acrylic signs I've done I've included an accent plate in the base as I like the look. I wanted to do a two color sign and I got to wondering how I could do a two color sign and choose which of the two colors to light the base with. This is the result.

Thanks guys. I made it for my neighbor's son who takes care of our dogs for us when we need coverage. I put the blue LED strip below the plate in the base and the white strip above it--it worked better than I expected!

I plan to give it to him tomorrow. I think that he'll like it!

George, that is a good concept, would you happen to have some pics of your construction, maybe you could share the components you used. I have thought about trying these edge lit projects.

I didn't take any pictures of this build guys-- I'll either write/draw it up or make another in the next few days and take pictures of that one!
