Asked for help in making a pattern and SteveNelson46 helped me with the pattern.
I want to thank him for all the help with the pattern.

I did what Steve recommended in running the pattern a test first since the upload at optimal was over 8 hrs.
The test carve was 3 hrs cant't remember if it was normal or draft. Did it in 1/2" mdf.
The finish will be done in 3/4" oak

I was asked why is Kaitlin carved deeper than Sloan?
Looked at the text in the pattern and everything is the same.

Anyone have a idea why that would be?

John,

I looked at your original and I really can't see why "Sloan" is shallower than "Kaitlin". However, the pattern/project was designed for 3/4" thick material. What was the dimensions of your actual board? Are you sure the board stayed under both of the rollers? Also, MDF is very soft and some of the manual tabs could have cracked or broken during the carve. Especially if you used 1/2" thick material. If you carve another test try adding a couple more tabs and making them 1/4" thick instead of 3/16". Another thing, since the text is "Centerline", you need the Conforming vectors add-on to allow the text to conform to the domed surface. With the text selected, make sure the conform box on the toolbar is checked.
