Had a request for a horse in a heart pattern.
Gladly pay for the pattern. Let me know how much.
I need to be able to add name to the top of the heart arches and date on the bottom of the horse shoe.

Thanks
John

Steve could I get you to remove the area that the arrows are pointing to. I may need to put a date where they are.

If you could do both version I would appreciate it.
Please let me know what i owe you.

John,

If you like this, send me a PM with your email address. It is designed as a pierced carving approximately 10" square and .4" deep and you can place text anywhere it will fit. The pattern is also available but you could just extract the pattern from the mpc.

I got it had to download the new software, guess I can't fight it anymore on my list to purchase next.

Is there a way to make it not a cut through on the inside?
need to put text in the middle of the horse shoe.

I also need to be able to make it bigger, like to be able to get it 13.0-13.5 wide.
Also how would it look with the areas that you removed from the earlier post i asked, he would like them in there. But wondering how the letters would look like.going from the different depths.
also could leave the areas marked empty.
thanks.

I did this modification but I'm not sure of what you want to do with the nail recesses and nail holes. The other example is just a suggestion on how to place a name or text. The project you are attempting to do is not a beginner's project but if you "stay with it" it will be a good one to learn by.

Steve added the wording to your heart and sent a screeenshot to my friend and he loved it.

I also worked on making my own and ran into a couple questions on it.
1- Looking at your heart vs mine yours has what appears to be sort of round edges and mine are just squared, what do I need to look for to get this effect?

2 how do you make it leave the center of the horse shoe filled and the out side of it cut all the way through?

I did download the horse shoe from the pattern store to try, couldn't get a decent horseshoe drawn.
Found a tutorial on drawing the heart surprising it was pretty easy, but I would of never thought of drawing it that way in a life time.

John,

The heart I made was "Puffed" and then saved as a pattern. It's one of the tools in the 3d add-on package. My Pierced Heart project is in the Pattern Depot along with a link to the video tutorial I made. It's not exactly the same as your project but may give you some insights. Here is the link to the tutorial.
