I have a friend with stuck front roller problem, we did a roller test and the front roller will not release even after we cleaned out the dust, we think, both rollers move up and down by hand very easily.
we lowered the holding plates and blew out the bearing and greased the spring with W D 40, the test still shows a compressed front roller.
Any advice needed.

It sounds to me like you may have to take out the switch for a closer look.

Do you hear it click?

Where can I find documentation on the removing and replacement of the rollers and switches, I found the exploded view.

I went through the same recently, you have to pull off the side panel with the keypad on it and then you can see the dust stuck in the roller mount.

yes, we did take both side panels off and blow out the spring and bearings and it still shows compressed front roller.

Can't you take out the switch and examine it?

Wiring and many other things could be the problem so I would use a multimeter to test the continuity of the switch before replacing it.

We looked at the switch on the key pad side and did not see an easy plug in type switch, it didn't seem a simple change out.
my friend is going to contact CW this morning for more help.

This is the sw. Assembly, it seems you have to replace both at one time.
I have never had to replace the swt. before.

Use extreme caution with the keypad side of the machine off as the keypad cable can rip easily.

I would remove the switch and activate the lever watching the sensor data.

In picture 2 you can see where when the roller is un compressed it lets the tang of the switch fall into the slot.

problem solved, my friend talked to Chris at CW this morning and he was able to move the sensor tab back in place and everything is working fine,
thanks for all the help.

Do you mean that the lever arm on the switch was bent? And if so, how do you think that happened?

I was not there when he had to straighten it out, but there was a very good amount of saw dust built up around the bearing when we pulled off the side key pad side. The sawdust could have packup and bent the sensor.
But he is up and running when I talked to him yesterday.
