I finished this a few days ago and it came out pretty good. It measures 26" by 12" on a 1" thick Mahogany board. It was a 9.5 hour carve using "Best" as the quality of carving upload. The finish is a sprayed on lacquer process with an HVLP touch-up spray gun.

Smart looking sign. I bet that took awhile.

Yes it did! About 9.5 hours using "Best"

I was modifying my first post when you replied so this appears to be redundant.

Nice job Steve. I spent 10 years out there in Tucson 88-98...lived on south side of river from the horse track on Limberlost.

Very nice and easy to read. Is there draft on the raised letters?

Really nice looking sign Steve!!! I made one for the Cedar Valley Woodworkers ***. again this year. I've tried to post pictures but I haven't been able to make it work. I've done them for the last 5 years. Keep up the good work!!! Merry Christmas!!!

I didn't use the Designer to make the pattern but I did apply a medium draft. The letters on the main body of the sign have a rounded (dome) top also.

Thanks to all for the great comments.

The font ts BlackChancery. For a free font it really does carve nice most of the time.
