creating a pattern from a sketch

attached is a sketch , what I am looking for is a tree, no leaves, and a limb running left to right. I have never been able to create a pattern from a dwg. this tree may be placed in the middle of a region or placed in the bottom left corner using "clip". the rest of the dwg is not going to used, I hope.
any help with this would be great, it does dot have to have great detail just a good looking tree. the limb does not have to be full as shown, it can be smaller and part of the tree cab be shown below the limb, I am will to talk money if needed. so if you can create a ptn from this let your mind run with it.

I know you only needed the tree portion but added some claws like the drawing. The leaves and text are not part of the pattern.

I have done similar patterns, but you really need the 2D and 3D modeling stuff to do it.
