I saw in another thread, you appeared to be really struggling with getting started using the software. Below, hopefully, will be some screen shots to help you get going. I hope do not demean your computer skills, but you sound like you just needed a little direction.

thank you soooooo much, I did not take your help as demeaning at all..in fact I appreciate you being so helpful...I saw my first mistake..I never clicked on the little tree icon to get the library up. I just went to new project and went into some of my embroidery bmps or jpegs and use them right out of my own directory...I'll try the tree now. thanks again.
