attached are my mpc and a screen shot, the project I want to do is have a 1/2" stock out of a 3/4" board.
I did a region 1/8" deep on both sides for the handle, then I want to start at the 1/8" depth and do an additional taper of 1/8"
to finish with a 1/4" edge. This will be a spoon later when I get the tappers right.
I tried to use the " tilt tool' , but from what I have seen it only works base on the center axes. if you lower one end the other end raises even if the region is set to 1/8".
I wish to start 1/8" deep to match the handle and tilt down another 1/8". see attached pic., I have the tilt set ay 0 , 0.
is there another way ,
feel free to play with the attached mpc. don't just fix it , let me know how you did it.
Thanks
Perry B.

I think extrude is the way to go. The tilt is hard to control. (I had a 1/8" snap grid in the extrude cross section.)

I did not think about extrude, it is going to work well, I will use cut path to shape the spoon,

I combined the shapes so it is only one and used the extrude tool on the whole shape.

Yes I thought about doing that too, I am on my third spoon so far. I am going to do some of my other styles too.
