Can anyone tell me what they know about the ebay collections for Carve Wright? I'm guessing there must be a reason they are so cheap.

That is a can of worms.

Most, if not all the patterns came from this forum in the past. As a member you have/had access to most of those patterns free of charge. After folks starting taking them and profiting from them a lot of the old timers stopped posting/sharing patterns freely.

The challenge now is there are so many patterns posted is can be a bit hard to find that exact one you need. The CW staff have done a great job compiling a list of them.

Like Oscars stated, most of the patterns were taken from the forum. It was a 2 to 3 year battle but finally the main culprit was finally banned from the forum. He and his son have made several attempts to re join the forum under different user names.

There are a couple of pattern vendors on Ebay that do make their own pattern but SFSALES2000 should be avoided..

This is a very good quality graphics site, you do have to purchase a subscription but when you look at the number of graphics for the price it is very reasonable. Also they do run specials at Christmas and several other times during the year. All graphics are available in ptn format.
