Steampunk Mayan Calendar Welcome sign

I haven't carved it yet but finished the pattern this morning. Yup. It's a steampunk Mayan calendar welcome sign. I left the outer most circle empty so you can include text. The one that I will carve will have my family name along with the welcome text.

Not sure if busy enough so may add some additional elements to it like more gears and shocks. :D

Regardless, I am super happy with it and wanted to show it off. It was modeled from scratch and a lot of fun to do (I did nerd out a bit...a lot).

Is this going to be a 2 piece carve so it is nice and big.:rolleyes:

hmmm. I had not thought of that. I had planned to carve it at 14" but a 2 piece carve may be in order. thanks.

Either way it should be an awesome piece.
