I have had perfect results on test boards, which were 1/2 inch thick pine. When I try to carve the "real" board (1/4" ash) the rollers spit the board out during measuring. The job is set up to carve only .15" deep, the board is slightly bigger than the design size ( but the same as the test board) and I do not choose to stay under rollers. Any suggestions?

Somewhere in the forums Bard confirmed the actual minimum thickness is 1/2".

If you need your final thickness thinner than 1/2", then you can use a carve region or something similar to achieve the desired thickness.

Thanks for the info, HTM, I just double-face-taped the board to a same-sized thicker one and the thing is humming away happily right now! An easy fix, thanks to you! I read through a zillion posts but never the one you referenced. Gotta love the Bard! He's always right.
