805308053180532Before my C-machine went down several months ago I carved the following designs just using a few of the 2 & 3 D drawing tools....mainly the Puffing tool. The animals and the semi-circles were my designs. The Butterflies, flowers and the dragonfly patterns were purchased patterns. These plaques were carved on MDF because they were experimental and they did require some adjustment in depth and height on the patterns I'm keeping. They measure 11x14 inches. As usual the painting part was part of the fun.

Sharon,
They almost look like needlepoint or embroidered patterns, and as always beautiful paint job...

Thank you for the nice replies. It's just nice staying home long enough to "play." I've decided I also need to tackle several other painting projects that's been sitting around for some time. Once those are out of the way I'll work on getting the machines back on line and carving.80542 In the meantime, I had to finish a pine needle basket....

I'd be happy to share the patterns with anyone that sends me a PM with their email address. You would have to add your own flowers and insects as the ones featured are purchased patterns. On the Giraffe riding the Hippopotamus you would not get the grass but a half circle to match up with the other two patterns.

If anyone is keeping score, I currently have 15 grandkids, most a pretty much grown up but 2 are under 5 plus one more and first great grandkid in the oven. Funny thing is that my youngest will become a mother of her fourth and a grand mother within a couple weeks of each other around the front of November. So I am going to PM you because I guess I will need some little kid stuff.
